Here are 10 cheap, fun, and creative craft ideas you can do with your completed coloring page!

“If I Were” is an all-time favorite game among children. Especially when the subject is a crocodile.

Start by having the youngsters finish their crocodile coloring pages and laminate them to a slightly bigger page with a 1-2 inch border.

Going clockwise around the border, have them write the different things they would say or do if they were a Croc! They can be as serious or silly as they want.

Have the child color a crocodile and then design a freehand poster to give it its own environment. The sky’s the limit since there are both freshwater and saltwater crocodiles.

Once the ecosystem is created, a long slit can be made to give the croc a path to swim or crawl on.

The crocodile can then be cut out and glued to a popsicle stick, which can be pushed through the slit and used to propel him along!

Have the youngsters color their crocodile and use white, glow-in-the-dark paint for the teeth instead of crayons or markers.

With a black marker, have them write their name somewhere in the crocodile’s smile with a black marker, putting one letter on each tooth.

With the lights out, they’ll see their name in the crocodile smile. This makes hilarious wall art, especially in the child’s bedroom.

For this easy craft, give each youngster an empty paper towel roll and two identical crocodile coloring pages.

Once colored, each crocodile should be cut out and glued to either side of the roll. It should then be trimmed in the front and back.

On the underside of the cardboard roll, a “trapdoor” should be cut, leaving the flap connected so that it can open and close.

Youngsters can hide things in the “crocodile’s belly,” such as secret messages, candy, or gum.

For wall art to keep you laughing for a long time, have your child color and cut out a crocodile with its mouth open wide.

Have the child trace and cut out the bottom half of a person, such as their legs and shoes. Tape it to the crocodile’s “mouth,” as if the person is being eaten.

Glue the ensemble to a square piece of paper, and use puffy paint to write “Has Anyone Seen (Name).” 

The inference, of course, is that the person is being eaten by the crocodile!

A crocodile coloring page can be used to make a hilarious party hat. Using the traditional party hat pattern, wrap the coloring page into a cone shape.

Make sure that the crocodile’s mouth faces towards the hat’s pointy top.

For extra fun, use tiny white pom-poms to create crocodile teeth, and decorate the base of the hat with green pom-poms to make it fancier.

Punch a hole on either side of the hat’s base and use a simple elastic string to wear it.

Making fans from finished coloring pages is loads of fun, but nothing tops a crocodile for this craft.

Use one crocodile coloring page to create the fan, and then color a second page, featuring a crocodile with his mouth open.

From the second page, cut out the crocodile so that the upper jaw and lower jaw are separate pieces.

Glue these two on either side of the fan. When spread apart, it will look as if the crocodile is opening his mouth!

To complete this simple craft, have the youngsters color two or even three crocodiles, depending on their size, and cut them from the coloring page.

Poster board or thin cardboard can be used to make a blank “crown” to which the crocodiles can be glued.

To make them extra funny, glue them in such a way that it looks like the first crocodile is biting onto the next crocodile’s tail to hold the crown in place.

A hilarious snack clip can be made from almost any crocodile coloring page.

The crocodile should be colored and cut from the page carefully, and afterwards, glued to a thick piece of cardboard.

The top part of the crocodile’s mouth should be separated from the rest of the cut-out and glued to one side of the snack clip.

The rest should be glued to the other half of the clip, which will look like the crocodile is opening its mouth whenever the clip is used.

For this comical craft, the youngster should color and cut out a crocodile and tape it together in a cone shape.

Next, the child should draw a person freehand, giving him or her a scared expression. The character is then glued to a craft stick.

The other end of the craft stick should be glued inside the crocodile’s “mouth,” making it look as if the crocodile is swallowing the person!

It can be hung up or glued to a ring binder or notebook cover for a good laugh anytime.
